First time coming here . 10/10 stars! I needed my hair braided and then owner Lorra and her assistant Hope both were nice, and friendly and very good at their work. I requested straight back cornrows and no gel(my preference) and they listened and did an excellent job. The braids came out even better than I could have ever imagined. Very happy.

Lorral African braid is exceptional when it's comes to what she does. Her hair last long and her service is very fast. Her customer service is a topnotch and the environment is very clean.

I will definitely be coming back to Lorral!!!! Her team is amazing and so kind and patient, they’re very professional and give you exactly what you want!! I highly recommend them to anyone!! You will not be disappointed!!! The hair isn’t heavy, the braids Do Not feel so tight that it hurts, it’s as if it’s your own hair that’s braided!!! 5 star braiders, wish I could give a 10 star!!! 🤩🤩🤩

Wow and OMG!!! I got my hair done today Ladies and Gentlemen!!!!. I am impressed after 40 yrs of getting braids at several braiding shops in Houston and most recently Katy in the last 10 years. I was genuinely and pleasantly greeted and seated as I walked in for my 9am appointment, (WTH) the hair color I wanted (listed color wanted in the notes when I booked the appointment) was already pulled, separated and on the stand ready to be installed (no waiting, right there, preparedness killed it for me). What promptness, time management and convenience for the customer this displayed, the small details count the most for me, like no broken tooth combs used by the braiders that tear your hair out when your hair is combed. Lorral has every hair color and length in stock you could possibly want (hair is provided with services, with the exception of curly hair, you must bring your own). I was given several options for installation that were all explained to me in great detail (there is a significant difference, so it was an education for me). I was greatly appreciative to receive these details of the difference in looks. Most braiders just install one or 2 ways and you either like it or you don't. I'm truly overwhelmed, just the care to parting my hair so exact was exciting for me. In addition, and most importantly of all, the tension of the braiding is very comfortable and gentle. My braiders Falilat Lateef and apologies for me not remembering the other women, however, both asked me if I was ok, when they braided near my edges, which are definitely in need of gentle handing. I've never felt more respected, and nor have I or my hair been handled so gently and with care. This is most definitely the best braided hair style I've ever worn. My braids were definitely tailor-made for me, they are not tight, too heavy, and my curl density and length are all on point. I love me some me and how I look in these braids. I know I look amazing. This salon is my salon for life. Don't move away without letting me know. I really can't tell you ladies and guys just how excited I am about my hair. It turned out better than I ever imaged. Well worth the price for me in every way. A picture is pending, I just had to get this out first, LOL!

Lorral African Braids is an absolute gem. Lorral, the owner, is incredibly talented, warm, and professional—she makes every visit feel like a treat. I’ve been to her shop several times for boho braids and each time my hair has been flawless. The braids last beautifully, and I always leave feeling like I got exactly what I paid for—quality and care. Her team is just as amazing. The two braiders who work with her have also done my hair, and they’re equally skilled and kind. It’s clear that excellence is the standard across the board. I accidentally booked the wrong day and was flying out for vacation the next morning. I was in a bind, but Lorral went above and beyond to fit me in, even though it was already a long day for them. That kind of flexibility and compassion is rare, and I’m so grateful. I even bring my daughter now, and she’s treated with the same care and attention. Lorral African Braids is more than a salon—it’s a place where you feel seen, valued, and leave looking fabulous. Highly recommend!
